So Masazumi is back at it again doing what she does best, while Tori becomes totally useless once again, although this time I enjoyed seeing him act as a drag queen and it is much preferred over being a streaker. Of course, what made this episode so great are the outfits worn at the meeting. The girls look really cute in those futuristic dresses. Then there is the info dump, but at least this time, it is much easier to understand. So basically, England is backed into a corner because of the upcoming invasion by Tres Espana and that executing Mary to power up the Excalibur during the invasion would derail the country's plan to reenact history. Then there is the fact that they don't want to have the stigma of being the one who destroyed Musashi attached to them. Masazumi sure exploited those, and then Gin and Diego interferes with Trouwjurken 2013 everything. This is a pretty nice episode despite the amount of Trouwjurken nl info dumping going on.
You know, one of the few problems I had with the first season, is that most everyone from Musashi went down like chumps the first time they fought someone from off the ship. They did usually get to shine in later battles, thankfully.
I just chalked this one up to it being the first battle I remember seeing him in, and that he'd get to shine later on at some Prom Jurken point. Well, from the OP alone, it looks like he'll be storming the castle (sneaking in like a good ninja?), rescuing Mary, and then from the foreshadowing, possibly getting his hands on Excalibur.
