Would brides in the US consider renting wedding dresses?
I think brides in the US would consider renting wedding dresses. Traditionally, most brides are still going to want their own special dress. However, not every bride has the budget to afford a brand new dress. It no different than a groom renting a tuxedo. A man doesn want a tuxedo hanging in his closet that he will never wear again. And a wedding dress certainly won be worn again (unless the bride is crazy haha). Therefore, I think this could be a successful niche market with the right marketing and products.
Like Halle Alicia said, if a bride Trouwjurken Met Kant were to rent, Trouwjurken nl the company should do the alterations. A bride isn going to want to spend a ton of money on a rented dress. Again, it the same as a groom getting fitted for his tuxedo. High Low Schoolfeest Jurken They go in to the store a couple weeks before the wedding to get sized, the tuxedo is altered and that it. There is no extra work for the groom.
Another thing to think about is the number of times a dress is rented. Should the price be decreased depending on how many brides have worn it before? How are you going to preserve the dresses? Should you charge a fee if the dress comes back damaged, stained or ripped? There is a lot to think about, but if you mesh Taiwan business plans with American culture, it could work!

Here in Brazil it common to rent the dress. My wife did it, and over the years she helped many friends and relatives to pick and rent a dress. I can tell you that the dresses are made from high quality materials, handled with professional care for cleaning and adjustements, and thus last for a relatively long time. I never saw a bride wearing a rented dress with signs of wear, and I sure the bride would never rent a worn one.
